rain gauge rakshasa

Initially, I was working with the concept of teaching children how to harvest rainwater in a quick and fun way. This is before Nikita and I(Tisha) joined hands and combined our ideas to create water rakshasa harvesters!
This is a quick sketch to show how the rain gauge rakshasa works:
The creature sits our on your terrace, in the garden, on the staircase, on lawn chairs, hanging from the walls. On sunny days, it holds an umbrella for protection. As soon as it begins to rain, the children come and upturn the umbrellas so they can act as funnels to collect the rainwater!
Fun interactions such as- as the rainwater keeps filling, the snout of the creature gets bigger!
I wanted to use these toys for other fun activities with the rain like teaching them how a rainbow gets created in the sky!or learning how to use the water to create a magnifying glass!
Once the water was collected, it could be used to water plants, feed pets, for squirting out on a friend!
